  • Recognise the main production stages
  • Separate creative direction from generation

Think in productions

Rush Auto connects story development, visual references, shots and an assembled film in one production. Start with the result you want an audience to experience. You do not need to describe every frame before you begin, but a clear premise and a manageable scope make every later decision easier.

The production view is your working record. Use its script, scenes, assets and takes to understand what has been planned and what has actually finished. A written plan, an asset reference and a completed video are different things; inspect each at the stage where it matters.

Know when to intervene

Review the story before investing in shots. Resolve the identity of a recurring character and the layout of a location before asking for intricate action there. Once a take exists, watch it before deciding whether to keep it, edit it or replace it. Progress percentages cannot tell you whether a performance works.

Use Auto for the connected filmmaking workflow. Use Manual when you want to generate an individual asset directly, and RushCut when the problem is arrangement, timing or sound in the edit. Choosing the right workspace avoids paying to generate something that a simple edit could solve.

Put it into practice

Open a new Auto production without starting a paid generation. Write down your premise, the intended length and the single most important moment.

  • You can explain what the film is about in one sentence
  • You know where to review the script, assets and takes
