Choose Rush Auto or Manual

Understand which workflow fits your project and how much you want to direct yourself.

Rush Auto: build from a story

Rush Auto is the guided production workflow. Begin with a brief or script, set the creative direction and review the material as Rush develops the production. It suits narrative films where scenes, characters and continuity need to work together. You still make the approval decisions presented in the production.

Manual: work asset by asset

Manual is useful when you want to write individual prompts, select references and create specific images, clips or audio before assembling an edit. You decide which assets to generate and which results to use. Model and feature access follows your account plan.

Choose a manageable starting point

Use Auto for a complete story you want to direct through review. Use Manual for a tightly specified shot, a visual experiment or a collection of assets. Use RushCut to edit available media into a sequence. Changing a setting for a future generation does not replace a clip already generated.

Check the current plan and model options in your account before planning a workflow around a locked feature.
