Understand licences, tips and earnings
Know which rights and balances apply before money or credits change hands.

In this lesson
- Distinguish spending credits from earnings
- Check scope and eligibility for paid activity
Read the permission attached to the work
An actor licence permits a defined use of a person’s likeness or voice. It does not transfer their identity to you or remove restrictions. A film purchase, a Recreate prompt unlock and a casting licence are different permissions. Keep the relevant records for the actual production.
Your own work may also contain third-party music, stock media or references. Review those rights before publishing or selling access. AI generation does not automatically eliminate copyright, publicity or contractual restrictions, and it does not guarantee exclusive rights in every generated element.
Follow the actual transaction
Tips support another eligible creator; you cannot tip yourself. Paid Watch viewing and tips require eligible paid credits, so a Free or promotional balance alone cannot fund them. Check the displayed amount and recipient before accepting a transaction.
Earnings and spendable credits have different purposes. Follow the revenue and withdrawal information shown for your account, including any review, fees, conversion terms or eligibility requirements. Do not assume a displayed credit balance is cash you can withdraw. If a receipt or status looks wrong, contact Support with the relevant reference instead of repeating the transaction.
Put it into practice
For a planned release, list each permission involved and which actions create spending or earnings. Identify where you would check the receipt for each paid action.
- No licence is treated as broader than its recorded terms
- You distinguish paid spending credit, promotional credit and earnings
