Direct voices, dialogue and sound

Keep speakers, voice references and the sound of a scene easy to understand.

Assign the speaker and the purpose

Write dialogue with clear speaker names. State the language, delivery and emotional intention. If you attach a voice reference, identify the character it belongs to and whether it should guide vocal identity or an exact line. Only use recordings and voices you have permission to use.

Choose suitable audio support

Some video models support sound within the generated clip; others need separate audio work. Check the selected model’s options rather than assuming every model produces speech, music or synchronised dialogue. Give dialogue enough time and avoid several people speaking over each other in a short shot.

Listen through the finished result

Check words, speaker identity, pronunciation, timing and music levels. A model can follow the image direction while missing a line or mouth movement. Use a focused correction where appropriate, then review the whole replacement. In RushCut, balance dialogue against ambience and music so the important words remain clear.
