A production or shot is still preparing

Identify a real blocker before restarting work that may already be running.

Read the current status in context

Preparing can include reference creation, a generation in progress or final media processing. Waiting for a named reference means another item is needed first. Review Required or a visible approval control means Rush may be waiting for your decision. Open the relevant item instead of judging progress from a single card.

Check before retrying

Keep a stable connection and refresh the production once if its display appears stale. Check whether a new take or asset has already arrived. Read any visible error and use an offered retry or resume control for that item. Avoid repeatedly accepting new generations while an earlier one may still be active.

Escalate with enough detail

If the status remains unchanged, record the production title, scene and shot label, status text and approximate start time. Tell support whether references are complete and whether credits remain reserved. This lets the issue be checked without guessing or creating duplicate work.
