Use a script and review the screenplay
Bring your own material or refine the story Rush develops before production begins.
Attach the right source material
Use the Script control when starting a production to add an existing script in a supported format. Make scene headings, speakers and action clear. Explain whether Rush should preserve the exact dialogue or adapt the material. Review the attachment and remove an outdated script before supplying a replacement.
Read for practical production needs
Check that each scene has a location, a time of day, understandable action and identifiable characters. Review spelling, speaker assignments and pronunciation-sensitive names. Compare the amount of dialogue with the selected runtime. Large casts and repeated changes of location add complexity even to a short film.
Approve a version you are ready to shoot
Request story or dialogue changes before approving the next production stage. Confirm the revised screenplay includes the requested changes, rather than relying on a chat acknowledgement alone. Changes after references or shots are created may require new work and a new credit quote.
