  • Recognise landscape and duration requirements
  • Separate submission, approval and availability

Prepare an eligible film

Rush Watch does not accept portrait films. Use a landscape master and check the current submission requirements before investing in a release. The Watch action on previews is intended for films at least five minutes long that are available in Watch, rather than every short clip shared on Rush.

Review the complete film, not just the trailer. Supply accurate artwork, synopsis and film details, and confirm that you have the rights to the images, voices, music, performances and other material included. An external film can be submitted through the appropriate workflow, but it does not gain a Rush Auto Recreate option.

Follow the release state

Submitting sends the film for review; it does not bypass approval from the dashboard. Check its actual review and publication status. If changes are requested, address the named issue and preserve the work that already meets the requirements.

Viewing terms and any credit price are shown to the viewer before a paid action. Free or promotional credits cannot fund paid Watch viewing or tips. Do not confuse a filmmaker’s earnings record with a guarantee that every preview play earns money. Use the release and revenue views to understand what has actually been approved and earned.

Put it into practice

Prepare a submission checklist for your next release. Mark eligibility, media, rights, metadata and the status you need to see before announcing Watch availability.

  • The master is landscape and meets the current requirements
  • You wait for actual approval before advertising availability
