Understand film previews and trailers

Prepare the artwork and short video that help viewers decide what to watch.

Know which viewing experience you are opening

Home and Explore help viewers discover films through artwork and previews. A film shorter than five minutes is treated as a preview and can play to the end in that preview experience. A preview appearing on Home or Explore does not by itself make the full film available on Rush Watch.

Prepare a separate trailer

For a film submission, choose a trailer no longer than three minutes. Use a supported video file, wait for validation and check the thumbnail and hover preview. The trailer should be a separate asset from the full film. Keep the opening clear and avoid revealing every story beat.

Make artwork represent the film

Use a readable poster or thumbnail that matches the cast, tone and title. Check the crop at a small card size as well as on the detail page. Watch the uploaded trailer after processing; its filename or first frame alone does not confirm that the right edit was uploaded.
